Description
A fine early English
hand painted New Hall clobbered style 7.75″ bowl.
Hand painted enamel over a transferware pattern known as “Boy/Lady In The Window” pattern.
The colurs of the bowl are a bit different from most in greens, blues, purples and pinks.
The most unique feature is the allover decoration including the bottom raised foot.
The only other example I find was at a Cowans, Cincinnati Auction 2/2/2018.
Measures 7.75″ diameter and 3″ tall.
The bowl is in pristine condition.
No chips, cracks, crazing, repairs or paint loss.
Minor glazing imperfections.
Daring from about 1785-1820
